Noah Broder, MD

Noam Broder, MD, was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He completed a bachelor of art in biology at Yeshiva University, and obtained his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York University (NYU), and continued at NYU after graduation as a faculty hospitalist at Bellevue Hospital. Broder was drawn to palliative care after caring for many indigent and incarcerated patients with terminal illness at Bellevue Hospital. He moved to California last fall with his Los Angeles-born spouse who is a psychiatrist for L.A. County.

Julianne Lee, MD

Julianne Lee, MD, was born and raised in San Jose, California. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in integrative biology. She then graduated from St. George’s University in Grenada with a medical degree in 2016. Lee went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian-Queens Hospital in Flushing, New York. Afterward, she finished a geriatric fellowship at UCLA. With interests in geriatrics and palliative care, Lee hopes to deliver medical care to vulnerable patients with a holistic approach. In her free time, she likes to be in nature and enjoy the sunny Southern California weather.

Sikandra Tank, MD

Sikandra Tank, MD, grew up in Porterville, California. The youngest of five siblings in a tightly knit family, her eldest brother’s chronic disease catalyzed her passion for medicine. Tank studied sociology at UCLA, then spent time abroad volunteering and re-connecting with family roots in Pakistan. She earned a master's degree in public health followed by a medical degree from the American University of Antigua. Tank completed her internal medicine residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California, where she began to appreciate the power of listening and empathetic care delivery for patients These experiences led her to train in supportive care and palliative medicine. Tank enjoys spending time with her family, baking and following medical journalism. She spent time as an amateur flutist as well as track athlete.
