If you are passionate about helping patients have the best possible experience at Cedars-Sinai, we encourage you to apply.
Membership Requirements
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and:
- Submit an application
- Be available for a phone and/or in-person interview
- Attend both a general volunteer and PFA orientation
- Receive initial and annual health evaluations
- Get an annual flu shot
- Follow dress code for PFA Role
How to Apply
Online Application Portal
Apply easily and conveniently through our online application portal, where you'll provide information about yourself and why you'd like to join one of our in-person PFA programs.

Start by downloading and filling out the application. You can submit the completed form via email to grouppatientexperience@cshs.org or via mail to:

Once we have received your application, someone will contact you for an initial phone screening, followed by an in-person interview with a representative from the Cedars-Sinai Patient Experience team. If you are invited to join the Patient & Family Advisory program, Volunteer Services will provide an orientation and obtain your health clearance.
