The Chapel
The chapel at Cedars-Sinai welcomes patients, their families and visitors of all faiths. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is centrally located on the hospital's Plaza Level, between the North and South towers. Convenient parking is available in Lots 1, 2 and 4 (do not park in the Medical Office Towers). Services for many different faiths, as well as events, are held regularly during the week.
Chapel Services Schedule
All services take place in the chapel. Some are also televised on Cedars-Sinai's in-house Channel 50, offering convenience for patients and their families and visitors.
Monday
Catholic Mass: 12-12:30 p.m.
Reiki for Relaxation: 1-1:30 p.m.
Tuesday
Rabbi Weiner's Torah Study: 12-1 p.m.
Wednesday
Catholic Mass: 12-12:30 p.m.
Christian Worship and Fellowship: 1-1:30 p.m.
Thursday
Mindfulness Meditation: 12-12:30 p.m.
Friday
Catholic Mass: 12-12:30 p.m.
Muslim Prayer Service: 1:15-1:45 p.m.
Kabbalat Shabbat Welcoming of Sabbath Service: 3-3:15 p.m.
Saturday
End of Shabbat Services (periodic): 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Sunday
Catholic Mass: 1:30-2 p.m.
The chapel carries resources for various faiths, including bibles, psalms, prayer books, prayer shawls, Muslim prayer rugs, yarmulkes, devotional cards, and rosaries.
