A head and neck cancer diagnosis can put your life on hold, but at Cedars-Sinai, there's hope.

Our team delivers the latest head and neck cancer treatments, increasing your chances of becoming cancer free. We also offer specialized therapies to help you move past side effects of treatment, including difficulty swallowing. Our approach allows people to return to their everyday lives.

Types of Head and Neck Cancer We Treat

We treat all forms of head and neck cancer, including rare and complex forms of disease. Conditions we frequently care for include:

A Patient's Guide to Head and Neck Cancer

We use biopsies and the latest imaging tests to deliver an accurate head and neck cancer diagnosis. You have access to sophisticated fusion imaging studies such as PET/MRI and PET/CT scans, which capture a level of detail that is not possible through separate tests.

We tailor treatment plans so that you receive the services that are best for your unique needs. We offer a broad range of treatment options, including clinical trials and immunotherapy, which uses the immune system to fight cancer.

Our radiation oncologists offer intensity-modulated radiation therapy plans that employ Varian TrueBeam® technology. Our innovative techniques deliver focused treatment and reduce damage to surrounding tissues.

Our surgeons employ minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever possible, including transoral robotic surgery. With minimally invasive surgery, you can expect reduced side effects, shorter hospital stays and smaller incisions. We also offer reconstructive surgery, which focuses on restoring appearance and function.
