Neurovascular
With state-of-the-art imaging technology, a dedicated intensive-care unit, and the most advanced therapies and surgical techniques, the Neurovascular Center at Cedars-Sinai provides personalized care for aneurysms, strokes and other neurovascular problems. Because your brain and spinal cord need a steady supply of oxygen-rich blood in order to function properly, conditions that limit or block blood flow can be dangerous or even life-threatening. Whether your condition requires urgent or long-term care, specialists from a variety of medical disciplines will work together to provide the best possible treatment plan.
Neurovascular Treatments & Services
The Cedars-Sinai Neurovascular Center provides a wide variety of advanced treatments and services depending on your condition and individual care needs. They include:

Specialized surgery for conditions involving the blood vessels of the brain or spinal cord such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), carotid artery stenosis, moyamoya disease, stroke and TIAs (transient ischemic attacks, aka, "mini-strokes").
Neurointervention
Minimally invasive surgery used to treat neurovascular conditions such as intracranial aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhages, tumors, carotid stenosis and stroke.
Vascular Stereotactic Radiosurgery
A minimally invasive procedure that delivers a single, precisely focused dose of radiation, causing unwanted blood vessels to thicken and close off.
Neurointensive Care
Patients who have experienced neurosurgical and neurological injuries such as stroke, tumors, brain hemorrhage or trauma stay at Cedars-Sinai's Saperstein Critical Care Tower after treatment until they're fully rehabilitated.

Patient Stories
Gabriel Goldberg, 44, compares having a stroke to being eaten by a shark. He knew what was happening, but couldn't stop it or guess what part of his body would be attacked next. He says his Cedars-Sinai care team didn't just save his life. "They also saved my quality of life."
