Pediatric Neuropsychology
The Pediatric Neuropsychology Program offers comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations of children’s cognitive, emotional and behavioral functioning to both inpatients and outpatients at Cedars-Sinai. Our pediatric specialists help identify individual strengths and limitations, develop child-specific recommendations and direct intervention planning across an entire team of doctors, including neurologists, pediatricians, oncologists and neurosurgeons, as needed.

Conditions
Any child who has been diagnosed with a neurological condition may be seen by one of our pediatric neuropsychologists. Patients younger than 3 are accepted in our outpatient clinic on a case-by-case basis. Some of the conditions we treat include:
- Acquired brain injury, such as traumatic brain injury, brain tumors and stroke.
- Epilepsy (seizures).
- Hydrocephalus.
- Genetic conditions.
- Neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum conditions.
Signs and symptoms that may signal the need for neuropsychology include:
- Difficulty paying attention or concentrating.
- Declines in learning or memory.
- Language delays.
- Problems in school.
- Behavioral issues.
