Guidelines for Gathering

Like you, we are eager to safely resume events and gatherings that bring together members of our patient, visitor and professional community. We have carefully considered guidance for gatherings and in-person events with external attendees held at Cedars-Sinai, including community resource and support groups, special events and CME conferences.

Capacity limits, masking restrictions and food/drink restrictions have been designed to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure and keep everyone’s safety a priority. We will evaluate these guidelines regularly to ensure everyone’s continued safety.

  • In-person events are allowed at 50% room capacity
  • Food and drink are not allowed. If you decide to order food for an in-person meeting, the food must be pre-packaged for take-away and cannot be consumed during the in-person meeting.
  • Masking is required at all times.
  • In compliance with Cedars-Sinai’s Visitor Policy, all external attendees must show proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination (including a booster if booster-eligible) or a negative test (taken within the last 24 hours if it’s an antigen test or 48 hours if it’s a PCR test).

Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital guidelines may differ. Please consult your meeting organizer if you are planning to attend or host a meeting there.

Event organizers are responsible for ensuring compliance with these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in the inability to schedule meeting and conference space in the future.
