Immunology and Immunotherapy Research

Immune cells are present in every organ of the body and play central roles in maintaining healthy tissues, fighting infections and preventing tumor growth. The immune system must be carefully regulated to ensure efficient function while restricting collateral damage and inappropriate activation of immune mechanisms that can cause allergic, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Our Faculty

Clinicians and scientists, including nearly 50 faculty and approximately 70 trainees (PhD students and postdocs), are studying the immune system and participating in clinical trials in multiple Cedars-Sinai departments and institutes.
